Integrating With Love

Retreats at Integration Grove Are Life-Changing

The Integration Grove is where we host our Immersive Retreats… a quiet natural space designed for deep integration and lasting change.

In Costa Rica’s southern highlands… The Integration Grove is a quiet place to slow down, listen, and remember what matters.

Ten days to slow down, remember who you are, and carry that clarity back home.

Next Immersive Integration Retreat • Feb 27– March 8, 2026 •

Only 10 guests per retreat

Most of us weren’t meant to live the way we’re living now. Life has gotten so loud that anxiety, fear, loneliness, depression, confusion, nervousness, anger, and unresolved trauma all feel normal. The voice in our head is constantly on duty… scanning, worrying, replaying, trying to protect us by keeping us on alert. Over time that survival voice can take over so completely that we forget who and what we are underneath the story.

IWL Immersive Retreats were created as a reset point. Ten days to step out of the noise, let your nervous system exhale, and begin to remember yourself again. The Remembering Me training and the land at Integration Grove work together… not as a quick fix, but as a real jump start on a quieter, more content life.

How it works: 1) Read the retreat details… 2) Submit a short application… 3) We talk together and make sure it’s a fit.

Our Story

Integration Grove was once only a dream… a quiet vision carried in our hearts for many years. Over time that vision rooted itself in the green hills of southern Costa Rica, and today it has become a living sanctuary.

Here, the jungle itself seems to breathe with you. Birds call across the canopy, water flows in the distance, and the land holds you with a strength both gentle and enduring. Integration Grove is more than a place… it is an invitation to slow down, to listen deeply, and to remember who you are.

Our immersive retreats are for a small circle of guests who are ready for real integration in everyday life. We spend our days in honest conversation, guided practices, silence, laughter, and simple shared meals. There’s no performance here and nothing to prove… just a safe, grounded space to let your nervous system exhale and allow the next chapter of your life to come into focus.

First day of a new beginning

Cabins & Lodging

Cabins are a short walk from the pavilion and gathering spaces, yet they feel wonderfully private. You’ll have real beds, fresh linens, screened windows, refrigerators, in room coffee pots and just what you need… and nothing you don’t. Nights are cool, quiet, and dark enough for the stars to take your breath away.

Cozy two-person cabins are nestled in the green hills… rustic charm with simple comforts. Each space is set up so you can sleep deeply, feel held, and wake to birdsong and soft morning light instead of alarms and traffic.

This is not luxury for show. It’s comfort that supports the work you’re here to do… a place where your body can rest while your heart and mind untangle and reset.

“I was fortunate enough to spend 10 days at Integration Grove and it was incredible! Ken & Philomene have put so much work and love into every detail there! The cabins are beautiful! And I loved the kitchen / pavilion area where we could all gather around cooking and meals and just sharing time together! Being up in the mountains with the views, birds, and beautiful nature all around was so healing. I’d highly recommend going in you get the chance!!” Eileen M.

The Grove Pavilion

At the heart of Integration Grove is the pavilion… our open-air living room for the work. This is where we gather for the Remembering Me training program, integration circles, classes, movement, sound, and meditation.

The pavilion opens out to the jungle, with a high ceiling, warm light, and a steady breeze. It’s spacious enough for yoga, art, and group sessions, yet intimate enough that everyone is seen and heard.

Over the course of the retreat this space becomes something more than a room… it becomes the container that holds your week of remembering.

Greenhouse & Property

For more than a decade this land has been tended with patience and care. No insecticides or herbicides have been used here for over ten years, and the property has slowly settled back into its natural state. Inside the greenhouse you’ll find a variety of vegetables and herbs that often find their way into our meals. When fruit is in season, you’ll see it on the trees… and sometimes later on your plate.

Guests are free to wander the property in their own way… to follow the paths, pause at a lookout, listen to the water, or pick a piece of fruit and eat it right where it grew. There’s no program to follow out here… just space to slow down, breathe, and feel yourself held by the land.

“I was fortunate enough to attend an Integrating with Love retreat earlier this year and highly recommend this organization for anyone interested in to inner healing & spiritual growth. The facility in Southern Costa Rica is absolutely beautiful. The travel there was interesting and inexpensive. IWL made our stay very comfortable and engaging. The chef prepared our daily meals and everyone very happily assisted in meal prep and cleanup. Ken and Philomene, our hosts, were such a beautiful and loving couple. Their intention to provide a healing space to those in need could not be more sincere. The time spent there was a powerful reminder of of who I truly am. I will never forget that week and pray that many other fortunate visitors have the same opportunity.” Rafael I

Trails & Waterfall

Winding paths through the hills lead to still places… and the soft roar of water. Walk, sit, listen… let the forest slow your breath. The waterfall invites both reflection and refreshment… a place to simply be.

Wellness Spaces

For most of us, life has gotten so loud that it drowns out our own knowing. The phone, the news, the calendar… the constant pressure to keep up. The voice in our head is on duty all day… scanning for problems, rehearsing old stories, trying to keep us safe by keeping us on alert. Over time that survival voice can take over so completely that many of us forget who and what we are beneath it.

At Integration Grove, we use the land, the pace of the retreat, and the Remembering Me training to gently interrupt that pattern. In the open-air pavilion and quiet spaces around the property, we explore how the mind works, how these old stories got built, and how to come back to what is actually here… breath, body, sensation, the simple fact that you are alive in this moment.

Wellness here isn’t about becoming a perfect meditator or chasing some peak state. It’s about remembering yourself. You’ll be guided through simple practices… gentle movement, breath, sound, stillness, and honest conversation drawn from the Remembering Me framework. The goal is that you don’t just feel better for a week in Costa Rica… you leave with a quieter inner landscape, a clearer sense of who is living your life, and practical ways to stay connected to that when you go home.

“My time with Integration Grove and Ken was nothing short of transformational. From the moment I arrived in the lush, untouched beauty of southern Costa Rica, I felt a deep sense of welcome—like the land itself was inviting me to soften, open, and reconnect.

The retreat center is nestled in the heart of the jungle, surrounded by waterfalls, birdsong, and the kind of silence that speaks volumes. It’s a sacred space that invites healing and transformation simply by being there. Whether we were gathered in circle or walking barefoot through the forest, everything was infused with intention and deep care.  Laura H.

Community Areas

The heart of Integration Grove is often found around the table. In the shared kitchen and open-air dining area, meals are more than food… they’re the moments when we come together as a group, a tribe. Here we nourish our bodies and our souls with food, laughter, and connection.

Simple, nourishing dishes are prepared with care by a professional chef… often using greens, herbs, and fruit from the greenhouse and land. We sit down without rush, pass plates, and let conversation wander. Even the most ordinary meals start to feel like family dinners… the kind many of us have been missing.

Between sessions this is where people refill a mug, grab a snack, help chop vegetables, or quietly sit and listen. It’s where strangers become friends… where those who arrived alone realize they aren’t alone at all.

By the end of the week, these community spaces hold their own kind of remembering… what it feels like to be welcomed, included, and fed in every sense of the word.

My time at the Integration Grove was truly special. Surrounded by nature, family, and a culture of gratitude and stillness, I was able to dive deep within and reconnect with parts of myself I often overlook in daily life. The tender community, nourishing food, and beauty of the land created a safe space where I felt seen, loved, and renewed. From sunrise with hummingbirds to quiet moments of reflection, every day was infused with love and simplicity. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking to grow, to heal, and to remember the magic within and around us.” Alicia C
