Frequently Ask Questions
Integrating With Love is a 501c nonprofit community where people gather to share, reflect, and grow.
The world we live in today is vastly different from just a few generations ago. Families are now often spread across the country or even across the world. For many of us, the natural support systems that once held us together are no longer there.
Even in our own neighborhoods, things have changed. People once knew their neighbors — really knew them. Today, we may see and recognize those who live nearby, yet never truly connect.
At Integrating With Love, we focus on restoring that sense of belonging. We bring people together and see integration as growth… helping insights from plant medicine, psychedelics, and life itself take root in everyday living.
Our circles and offerings are about connection, presence, care, and gentle support as people bring new understanding into how they live and relate.
Anyone who is asking life’s deeper questions is welcome here. Sometimes those questions arise naturally… through loss, change, or simply the quiet moments of life. Other times they come through plant medicine or psychedelic experiences.
No matter who you are or how you found us… you are welcome here.
No. We don’t follow any dogma or doctrine. People from all walks of life are welcome at IWL. Our focus is on living fully in this life rather than preparing for an afterlife. Our values are rooted in love, compassion, and openness.
Integrating With Love was founded by Ken Stanley. After working with hundreds of people over many years, a clear pattern emerged. He began to notice how many people would attend ceremony… sometimes over and over again… yet their lives, from the outside, seemed unchanged.
On the other side were those who took the time to integrate, to grow, and to weave their insights into daily life. Those people often experienced something different: more clarity, more peace, more ease.
It became Ken’s purpose to try and help everyone discover how to live a life of joy and ease… a life filled with love. Love for yourself, and love for the world around you.
IWL was created to offer a simple, loving container for that growth, and to remind people they are never truly alone… that the love and connection they seek has always been within them.
No. We are not licensed therapists, doctors, or clinical providers. What we offer is something different… a peer-led community built on lived experience, compassion, and presence.
Our team includes people trained in Personal Transformation & Psychedelic Integration, as well as Compassionate Inquiry, with decades of experience walking alongside others in their growth.
We do not provide medical or clinical treatment. When professional help is needed, we encourage and support people in seeking it. If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide or are in immediate crisis, please reach out right away to a trusted professional or call your local suicide hotline (in the U.S., dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
What we can offer is the community and connection that help make the journey lighter.
In the integration space you will hear it again and again… “you HAVE to do the work!” At Integrating With Love we take a different approach. We prefer a kinder, gentler way.
Integration, to us, is growth… not something forced, punished, or hurried. It’s a natural unfolding, like a seed becoming a tree. Integration is about embodying what you’ve learned, allowing insights to move through you until they shape how you live, how you love, and how you relate.
Growth that is gentle. Growth that is loving. Growth that does not force.
In the words of Alan Watts, “The trick is to learn to make work play and you will never work another day in your life.”
For us, integration is the process of taking the profound insights given through life experiences and weaving them into our daily lives… so the change becomes permanent, positive, and real.
Integration circles are simple and intentional. People gather in a confidential, respectful space to share as much or as little as they wish. We listen deeply, offer reflections when invited, and hold one another with kindness. There is no plan, no set structure, and no topics prepared in advance. We simply meet to talk about what is alive in the hearts and minds of those attending.
But what we find, many times, is that in listening to the stories others tell we begin to see ourselves… because we have all felt love, loss, sadness, joy… the full range of human emotions. That is the human condition, and it is through hearing the stories of others that we are reminded of our own. When we hear someone else’s story, we are not attached to it. We can see it for what it is… a story.
As we continue on the integration journey, we begin to notice how it is almost always the story we tell ourselves that creates our suffering. And when we finally ask, “How is my story shaping my life?”… it is then, and only then, that we can begin to change our story into one of joy.
No. While many people here have experience with psychedelics, that is not a requirement. IWL is about living more fully, with or without those experiences. People come to share about journeys, daily life, relationships, and personal growth. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background.
Joining our online circles is free. We believe integration should be accessible to everyone.
We do, however, accept donations, which help us reach more people and keep our online offerings open and free… but nothing is ever required to attend.
From time to time we also host free community gatherings in Florida, and for those seeking more we also offer seven to ten day immersive integration retreats in Costa Rica. Retreats are, of course, fee based… but the heart of IWL… our online circles and community connection… will always remain free.
No… Integrating With Love does not provide or serve plant medicines. Our focus is on integration — the growth and healing that comes after the experience.
That being said, we are connected with many trusted groups, churches, organizations, and individuals who do offer ceremonies. We believe each person is guided to the right place and the right people at the right time. Our role is to support you before and after, so whatever you experience can take root and become lasting change.
The simplest way is to join a circle — to listen, to share, or just to be present. You can find the links to our weekly integrations here: Upcoming Events
