Integrating With Love

Your Are The Creator of Your Reality

If you have attended very many of my integration calls there is a good chance you have heard me tell this story.  Hopefully, I’ve been able to capture the essence of the story.  If you hear the simple truth this video is about please like and follow. It’s a simple story. Nothing mystical. Nothing complicated. But it holds a truth that can change everything if you let it.

The story begins with a man whose life had fallen apart. He had been very sick… so sick that he almost died. Weeks in the hospital cost him his job security, his savings, and even the basic stability of his life. His house was in foreclosure. His car was about to be repossessed. His electricity was on the verge of being shut off. He was still weak, still healing, but he forced himself to return to work because he had no other choice.

One day, after too many late arrivals caused by doctor’s appointments, his boss pulled him aside and said, “I can’t cover for you anymore. If you’re late one more time… I’ll have to let you go.”

The next morning, determined not to lose his job, the man got up early. He sat in his car, turned the key… and nothing happened. Dead battery. Panic set in. He ran to wake a neighbor who owned jumper cables. They got the car started, but now he was running late.

On his way to work, desperate to make it in time, he ran a red light. To avoid another car he jerked the wheel… swerved… lost control… and rolled over into a ditch. Crawling out through the broken window, overwhelmed and exhausted, he fell to the ground crying hysterically, “This is the worst day of my life.”

And honestly… it was.

But here’s the part that matters.

Imagine that same man… on that same morning… in that same accident… crawling out of that same broken window… falling to the ground… crying the very same tears.

But instead of saying, “This is the worst day of my life,” he says, “This is the best day of my life… I’m alive.”

Nothing in his circumstances changed.
Only his perspective did.
And that changed everything.

This story isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s not about positive thinking or spiritual bypassing. It’s about recognizing the place where your power actually lives — in how you interpret your experience… in the meaning you give it… in the lens you choose to look through.

Perspective is not a small thing.
Perspective is creation.

You and I create our reality through the thoughts we hold, the beliefs we carry, and the actions we choose. Life doesn’t always give us control over what happens… but it gives us complete freedom in how we meet it.

If you find yourself in a moment where everything feels heavy, or impossible, or overwhelming, remember… your power isn’t gone. It’s just hidden underneath the story you’re telling yourself.

The shift doesn’t have to be dramatic. Just look at the moment from a slightly different angle… soften the edges… breathe. Sometimes that’s all it takes to open a door that felt sealed shut.

If you’d like to watch the video version of this teaching, you’ll find it below. And if you feel drawn toward this kind of work… toward community… toward honest, grounded conversations… you’re always welcome in our free weekly integration circles at IntegratingWithLove.org.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for being you.
